LegalShield named exclusive legal services provider on NFP’s digital insurance marketplace
LegalShield, the largest voluntary benefit carrier for legal and reputation management services, and NFP, a leading property and casualty broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager, and retirement advisor, today announced a partnership for legal benefit plans to be offered through NFP’s InsurChoice marketplace. LegalShield is the exclusive legal services provider on the InsurChoice platform.
Launched in 2021 as part of NFP Connect, InsurChoice is a digital insurance marketplace that provides businesses, membership organizations and strategic partners the opportunity to offer personal insurance solutions to their employees, members and customers. More than 100,000 employers and associations and millions of employees currently have access to the InsurChoice marketplace. NFP Connect is the centerpiece of NFP’s digital transformation, driving how the company engages and enhances the user experience for its clients.

Unlike other legal service providers, LegalShield features an extensive lawyer network where members have full access to immediate legal counsel to assist with a range of personal legal matters, including will preparation and estate planning, traffic tickets, contract and document reviews, leasing disputes and agreements, and more. LegalShield members pay an average of $300 annually versus the average attorney fee of $110 to $350 per hour.
